So often when in holidays people run around to all the touristic places,but really is that the way how you experience the reality of a country? I offer you a chance to spend one evening at a relaxing grill party in my garden,  feeling like you where a real  latvian.  I decided to work on this crazy idea and welcome you at my home, because as a stay home mom it is not possible for me to lead old city Riga tours or make any income. This is a chance for me to do what I love and explore the world even if I am staying home. 

Since my childhood I remeber grandma and mom teached me how to welcome people and that it is important to share with others if you have something to share. And I do! Those are the emotions you get, when you take your cup of cocoa and sit at the fireplace in the garden. You let peace and relaxation overflow you.  Chat with  your best friends sitting there next to you , or simply  be quiet for a while looking up to clouds throug apple tree branches. Just enjoy because it  is one of those perfect small life moments where you are truly mindfull and present and don't need to run anywhere. Join this small garden party and catch your own Latvia feeling.
 

For donation of  30 euros per all group 2-8 people max , that covers: 

grill stuff like charcoals

sausages to grill &desert

unlimited tea and cocoa

evening program presentation  with facts about Latvia

food for the ducks :) If we decide to visit them

Per additional price of  20 euros per person ( max 3 people) we can offfer you smal crazynes,  to stay for  a night in our tent in a garden under a cherry tree.  Maybe you could use the bikes  or rollerblades and wake up  at 5 am ,to  drive and see sunrise at the riverside. Or just sleep till the morning and water the garden, or sunbath in early sunrays.  If you stay owernight  there is breakfast included. :)

Take note that in all this process you will have a cat stalking you  and probably a small baby interupting us in some point,  also a posibility of a nice Latvian grandma trying to speak with you in latvian or russian and offering you balzams ( traditional latvian alco 40*) , because thats what she does with all my foreign friends.

I know I am a dreamer but I really hope to grow this all in future and create a  recreation programms for people who are owerwhelmed or addicted to media and tehnologies, but now I do what I can since im stuck at home. And I can share with you my reality and  the emotions of a lovely home family evening in Latvia. So this is not your casual travel experience. This is a chance to spend one evening like a real Latvian.

 

Program starts at 19:00 finnishes around midnight.

Place is located 20 - 25 min bus/tram drive from city centre. To get the real feeling I suggest you take trolleybus Nr 15 and drive throug suburb area to us.
